In this episode we finish the detour that we started in our last episode by covering Luke 4:40-44 before covering the parallel story of the calling of the first disciples in Luke 5:1-11. We then get back into Matthew where we begin our verse by verse breakdown of Matthew 4:18-22. Some interesting topics of discussion include who the gospel writers were actually writing to and how that influenced their writing; what it was actually like for a disciple looking for a Rabbi; and the things Simon had to put up with as a disciple of Jesus.
